Step 2.  Work out which consumables you need

There are two types of consumables for The Get Real Game.link to replacements components

Student Folders provide a place for students to keep their handouts and record various information during the programme. If you do not wish to purchase the Student Folders, allow sufficient time for students to make their own.

Student, Group and Class Handout Pads, and Role Profile Pads are designed to alleviate the need for photocopying. They have been produced in direct response to feedback from teachers during the Australian pilot. The pads comprise all the worksheets students will require during the programme. If you do not wish to purchase them, you can photocopy all the worksheets from the reproducible masters in the Facilitator’s Kit.

It is recommended that you purchase the following student consumables:

  • one Student Folder per student (available in packs of 10)
  • one Student Handout Pad per student (available in packs of 10)
  • one Group Handout Pad per class (each pad contains 5 sets of group handouts)
  • one Class Handout Pad (includes 5 sets of class handouts – enough to run the game 5 times).
